La Pavoni ‘Drink Coffee Like an Italian!

Italians consume billions of espresso drinks each year, making the country’s coffee intake one of the highest in the world. That’s a LOT of coffee, and Italians take great pride in their ability to extract perfectly flavoured espresso every single time … which is why so many bars, cafes, restaurants and hotels around the world insist upon using only La Pavoni coffee machines.

La Pavoni’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is located in Milan, the economic and production capital of Italy. Indeed, Milan is the engine of the country’s economy, as well as being home to one of the world’s most important exhibitions for the hospitality industry, HOST, which provides a unique opportunity for companies to demonstrate next-generation products, solutions and services to discerning customers from 162 countries.

It will come as no surprise, therefore, to discover that La Pavoni was present at this year’s HOST, held between 18th and 22nd October in the Fiera Milano, where it met old friends, forged new relationships and introduced an exciting new Crema Coffee Machine to the market that is as stylish as it is efficient. In fact, although it does provide the superior quality and unrivalled performance that is the hallmark of La Pavoni, perhaps the first thing that draws people in is the design, with sleek lines, lots of stainless steel, and an elegance that tells you that it could only ever have been created in one country … Italy.

But the really exciting news for hospitality professionals in the Middle East is that from spring 2014 it will be available through Al Halabi, the region’s leading supplier of high quality commercial kitchen and catering equipment. Maurizio Pastori, the sales manager of La Pavoni, explains: “Al Halabi has a fantastic reputation in the industry; as a company they are very professional and nothing is ever too much trouble. We have been working with the Al Halabi family for more than 15 years now and I am pleased to say that they have become not only very fine business partners, but also friends.”

So next time you hear one of your customers utter the standard Italian greeting, ‘fancy a coffee?’ (‘prendiamo un caffè?’), think how truly authentic it will be if you make it for them with one of  the market leading La Pavoni machines, thereby allowing your clientele to drink coffee like an Italian!
