‘Host 2013: Why Should You Be There?’

Host 2013, the international exhibition of the hospitality industry, is a unique opportunity for companies to demonstrate next-generation products, solutions and services to a highly qualified visitor audience, including hoteliers, restaurant owners, chefs and senior buyers from around the world. With arguably the best conference and exhibition location in Europe – Fieramilano in Italy – the show expects approximately 125,000 visitors, of which 33,000 will be overseas delegates from 153 different countries.

Divided into eight sectors, each highlighting accessories, equipment, fixtures, machinery and raw materials, Host 2013 features Food Services Equipment; Bread, Pizza & Pasta; Gelato & Pastry; Coffee; Bar & Coffee Machines; Furniture; Tea; and Tableware. In total, there will be 1600 exhibitors from over 40 countries: leading players from all around the globe and all industry segments ready to build strategic partnerships with you.

Helping companies to develop new market share, Host 2013 will welcome architects, design consultants, contractors, distributors, manufacturers, hospitals, cinemas, museums, large-scale shopping centres, ice cream parlours, bakeries, fast food outlets, spas, restaurants, hotels, and every other type of professional and market sector looking for new ideas, new products, new suppliers and new customers.

19% of all visitors to Host 2013 will arrive from Asia and the Middle East, whilst 14% of exhibitors will derive from the same region. Al Halabi will of course be there, and you can find us in Hall 5, Stand R11.

While Rome is Italy’s political capital, Milan is the country’s economic and financial hub, with the province of Milan generating approximately 9% of the national GDP. It is in many ways the beating heart of Italian commerce, and Rho, where the exhibition centre is located, can be reached in less than 30 minutes by metro (Red line) from the city itself. There are also three motorway junctions close to Rho, and a large number of parking spaces at the exhibition centre, so if you’re arriving by car it couldn’t be simpler. Milano Malpensa Airport is nearby too, from where a bus service is available during the exhibition days.

From the Friday through to the Tuesday (18th to 22nd of October), you can meet the very best international companies, all offering innovative products in terms of technology and design, providing an opportunity for dialogue and further discussion, with meetings, events and seminars: everything to improve your business.

With proper planning, in just five critical days, you can set up a full year of business connections, partnering possibilities and exposure with leading companies in the hospitality, restaurant, catering and retail industries. See you there!
