‘Great Food, Low Prices!’

Main PhotoThere are literally thousands of die-hard fans of the Eat & Drink Group of Restaurants, who will assure you that it’s the best food at the best prices: in fact, it’s the great value that keeps customers coming back for more. It’s what could be termed as ‘cheap premium’, but how does the company achieve this? We spoke to branch manager Mr. Ashraf, who had no hesitation in explaining exactly why Eat & Drink has become one of the most popular brands in the UAE.

Second Paragraph“We have been offering real value since we first opened our doors for business back in 1982,” Mr, Ashraf says, “but we have never compromised on quality, whether that is ingredients, equipment or staff.”

Indeed, very early on in Eat & Drink’s history it began to hire chefs from renowned restaurants throughout both Dubai and further afield, allowing it to offer superior quality at prices that everyone can afford. The cuisine is rather special too … and quite diverse. A wide range of tempting dishes from China and Lebanon sit alongside Arabic and Indian food and drink, including a broad selection of soups and starters, Lebanese grill items, biriyanis, sandwiches, burgers, wraps, fresh juices, desserts, and much, much more.

“We also maintain the highest standards in cleanliness and hygiene,” Mr. Ashraf continues. “And perhaps one of our biggest advantages is that we partner with Al Halabi, the finest commercial kitchen designer, equipment manufacturer, supplier and installer in the Gulf. There is simply no competition if you want real quality in your kitchen, and we do!”

Eat & Drink has been dealing with Al Halabi since it began over 30 years ago, so as Mr. Ashraf points out: “They know our kitchens and requirements inside out. Al Halabi is a great company to work with and nothing is ever too much trouble. I can’t speak highly enough of them.” This clearly explains why Eat & Drink continues to work with Al Halabi on all of its new restaurants, of which there are now over 20, with new outlets opening regularly. It’s a relationship built on quality workmanship and fast, friendly and extremely knowledgeable customer service. Moreover, it’s a relationship that has helped to fuel tremendous growth for Eat & Drink.

Last ParagraphOf course, if you always got what you paid for, ‘cheap premium’ would be an oxymoron. But Eat & Drink customers have learned that inexpensive does not have to equate to poor quality – just the opposite in fact!
